[E is looking at the tile samples we have brought home from the tile store, as we consider putting in a new countertop and backsplash].

E: Wow, daddy, these come from all over the world!

Me: Yeah they do, don't they? [As I am mixing batter, I'm not really watching, I assume he is reading the stickers on the titles that say "Made in Italy" and "Made in Brazil", etc.] What countries do they come from?

E: They come from all different countries--Richmond, Surrey, Edmonton, Victoria.
